I am a nurse with over fifteen years of experience. As an RN3, I get to blend healthcare management, education, and my years of bedside practice to positively impact patients and the community. I love being an nurse and hope to expand my role and continue to influence the nursing profession through thoughtful learning experiences.
Experience
UW Northwest Campus RN3 resource team 2022-present
Split work week management duties and continue work clinically at the bedside. Work clinically in all units in the hospital as a member of the float team. Mentor newer nurses as they transition into practice. Perform annual evaluations with team. Develop retention strategies. Help with patient flow and operations as needed.
University of Washington- Northwest ICU RN2 2019-2022
Work closely with supervisors, managers, doctors to coordinate and manage care of critically ill patients. Precept students. Float to all areas of hospital as needed on a float-rotation basis.
CHI Franciscan Virtual ICU, 6/2017- Tacoma, WA
Per Diem working as a Virtual ICU nurse. Work closely with critical care team. Monitor patients virtually and provide consulting services to bedside critical care team. Utilize critical care knowledge to implement sepsis prevention and management, glucose control, assist in codes & rapid response in ICU.

Masters of Nursing
University of Washington- Bothell
Earned a Masters in Nursing with an education and leadership concentration. Worked with a community clinic to improve childhood vaccination rates through education and technology. Curriculum included nurse leadership, curriculum development, and evaluation.
Medical Surgical nursing Certification

Completed an American Nursing Association certification exam.
